Philosophy
Our day care environment is very child-oriented. We have a daily routine that we follow, but are
flexible enough to allow extra time if needed for special activities. With two providers, we
have the advantage of making sure each child receives the proper supervision and attention that
is needed to provide a safe, fun environment.
Years in Business
Lucky Ducks was established in April 2001. In the summer of 2006 Patti Sibbitt joined Lucky Ducks
Day care as a secondary provider and to become a home II day care.
About Us
Paula is the mother of 3 children; Lindsey - 7 years old, Lucas - 6 years old and
Landon - 2.
Patti is the mother of two daughters; Amber - 117 years old and Ashton - 14 years old.
I enjoy scrapbooking, cooking and spending time with my kids.
The day care is smoke-free and there are no pets.
Experience
Paula has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Doane College in Crete, Ne.
She has worked with children for the past 22 years in many different capacities, such as Girl
Scout Membership director, Camp Fire Boys & Girls Activity director, Durham Western Heratige
Museum Camp-in director, Henry Doorly Zoo Camp-Out Staff member and Camp Counselor at various
resident and day camps. Patti has 12 years experience at a day care center and 2 years experience
running her own private day care. Both Paula and Patti have been certified in First Aid and CPR for
the past 15 years.
Patti worked at Kindercare from August 1991 - October 2004. She ran an in-home child care from April 2005
until August 2006.
