Philosophy

My philosophy is very simple, to let kids play and be themselves. I recognize that each child is unique and allow for different in learning, experiences and interests. I believe children learn through involved play rather than directive approach.

Experience/Training/History

I have attended many Early Childhood Education classes since I started my home daycare. I will continue to meet the requirements set forth by the State of Nebraska guidelines for licensed Family Childcare. I am CPR and First Aid Certified

About Me

Hello! My name is Linda. I was born and raised in Omaha. I have been in business since 1990. I quit my job and started my daycare after my last child was born to be at home for him as well as my other children. I have been married to for over 20 years to a wonderful man. We have 6 great kids, 2 his, 2 mine, 2 ours. We also have 8 wonderful grandchildren

My hours are 6:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Friday

Daily Schedule

I provide a safe, warm, and caring environment where learning is continuous through interactions and participation in a normal playful routine. I believe children learn through play. Learning takes place naturally as children learn to understand and deal with the world around them. All children here in Linda's daycare are successful as there is no right or wrong answers in play. These successes enable the children to see themselves as capable, worthwhile and competent individuals.
